Orthognathic surgery

Maxilim - Orthognathic surgery contains all features to plan a complete orthognathic surgery and to transfer your planning to the operation room.

This solution is designed to optimize preoperatively the functional and esthetic result based on a realistic visualization of the expected hard and soft tissues.

Cephalometric analysis

You perform a 3D cephalometric analysis to measure important anatomical structures. The landmarks and planes defined in the analysis can be used to identify anatomically relevant directions, necessary to move the bone fragments.

Osteotomies

Special tools guide you to perform easily Lefort I and II osteotomies, BSSO, ramus osteomies and chin osteotomies. The osteotomy surfaces can be customized to obtain the kind of osteotomy you prefer.

Move bone fragments

You move bone fragments according to anatomically relevant directions. You can easily perform maxillary intrusion and extrusion, or move and rotate mandibular bone fragments. A dedicated occlusion tool helps you to find the best occlusion between upper and lower jaw. With soft tissue prediction, the expected facial changes are visualized.

Transfer to operation room

When your planning is finished, a surgical splint can be produced. In case of a bimax surgery, an intermediate and final splint can be produced.
