Distraction
Maxilim - Distraction osteogenesis contains all features to plan a complete distraction osteogenesis and to transfer your planning to the operation room.
This solution is designed to answer questions about the distraction vector and the relationship with anatomical parts preoperatively, and to facilitate proper installation of the distractor(s) on the patient.
Cephalometric analysis
You perform a 3D cephalometric analysis to measure important anatomical structures. Anatomical planes can be defined and visualized.
Osteotomies
Special tools guide you to perform easily Lefort I and II osteotomies, mid-split osteotomies, ramus osteomies and chin osteotomies. The osteotomy surfaces can be customized to obtain the osteotomy cut you like.
Position and activate device
Several types of distraction devices can be virtually positioned and activated. You can correct the distraction vector to optimize the planning. A soft tissue prediction can be visualized when you activate the device.
Transfer to operation room
When your planning is finished, an STL model of an anatomical part can be produced.
