Maxilim - Diagnose contains all features to inspect your patient in detail.This solution is designed to give a reliable and detailed view on the anatomy of your patient.
Maxilim 3D viewer
With the Maxilim 3D viewer you can zoom and rotate to inspect your patient to the smallest detail, e.g. you can zoom in on the maxillary or mandibular dental arch to inspect the patient´s occlusion.
Together with the 3D models CT images can be visualized.
CT images
The axial, coronal and sagittal reslice can be visualized together with the 3D bone and skin model, or in a separate viewer. A random reslice can be positioned anywhere in the 3D scene. A random reslice is the ideal tool to check the TMJs or to inspect the dental roots.
Delineate nerve
You can delineate and inspect the course of the mandibular canal. In general, to emphasize important structures, points and lines can be drawn.

Tools
To measure the distance between 2 anatomical points, to measure the angle of anatomical structures or to measure the length of a freehand drawn line, like the lenght of the dental arch, measurement tools are provided.
Mirror anatomical parts
For patients with defects caused by trauma or cancer, reconstructive surgery is necessary. Maxilim contains a tool to mirror anatomical parts. This can help you to define the best treatment for reconstructive cases.
