We are pleased to announce the new Maxilim® 2.2.0. This new version contains improvements, extended features and new features.
3D models created from (CB)CT images give you accurate information on the hard and soft tissues, but do not show a detailed occlusion. A new feature in Maxilim enables you to create a 3D skull model augmented with highly detailed dentition models. A dedicated (CB)CT protocol is defined to obtain the correct (CB)CT images.
For patients with defects caused by trauma or cancer, reconstructive surgery is necessary. Maxilim contains a new tool to mirror anatomical parts. This can help you defining the best treatment for reconstructive cases.
The maxilim viewer can be opened on any powerful computer to help you communicate with your patient, to discuss a planning with a colleague, to support you and your team during surgery... To enlarge the clinical value of the Maxilim viewer, some diagnostic features are added to the viewer.
To easily work with all features that Maxilim offers you, the menu is rearranged. The new menu guides you through the treatment process. The menu - item ´3D Patient´ contains all features to create a 3D model of the patient. The menu-item ´Diagnose´ contains all features to diagnose your patient in detail.
