On a warm and sunny Saturday, a fully booked course with 20 participants took place at CHU Brugmann in the service of Prof. De Mey. After a general introduction on the basic pilars of 3D cephalometry, it was explained how to use Maxilim in a practical way. After a first hands-on session, detailed information was given about the scientific background and the landmark definitions of hard and soft tissues. In a second hands-on session, the participants trained using a cephalometric analysis.
To conclude this exciting day, clinical applications of 3D cephalometry were explained, and a refreshing drink was well appreciated.
