Himeji, Kyoto, Japan - Kyoto 3D Cephalometric Workshop

Dr. Kanomi (Kanomi dental clinic, Himeji, Japan) organised a 3D cephalometric course. In this two-day course, Dr. Swennen extensively explained the scientific background and clinical applications of 3D cephalometrics first. During the second day, hands-on training was organised. In this way, the participants experienced the powerful possibilities of the innovative 3D cephalometrics plugin of Maxilim.
On Thursday July 21st, the hands-on session was repeated in the office of Dr. Inami (Inami orthodontics, Kyoto, Japan). The focus was on the practical use of the software, and the use of conebeam CT for 3D cephalometry. Several advantages and challenges are pointed out.
After the courses, Dr. Inami said: "We were very impressed your 3D cephalometric analysis and plastic operation. Your diagnosis, treatment planning and evaluation were the best quality which I have ever seen. Thank you for your outstanding lectures!"
